Data Ethics Policy
Responsibility, transparency, and putting people first.
Last updated: February 13, 2026
Purpose
This policy describes Azlo Pro's approach to data ethics. We aim to use data in a way that respects human autonomy and privacy, and creating value without compromising ethical principles.
1. Putting People First
- Azlo Pro's technologies, including our "Emotional Demo API", are designed to assist and create insight, not to monitor or manipulate individuals.
- We prioritize solutions where the user retains control over their own data.
2. Transparency and Honesty
- We are open about our data processing. Our contact form, for example, explicitly states that the connection via Lambda/Zoho is not encrypted, so the sender can make an informed choice.
- We only use Google Analytics for technical optimization and user experience, and we minimize collection to what is necessary.
3. Data Accountability
- Azlo Pro never sells customer data or personal information to third parties.
- We perform an annual self-evaluation of our data ethics considerations.
4. Publication
This policy and associated considerations are published on Azlo Pro's website.
Data Ethics Considerations Scheme
| Question / Area | Status | Description of Considerations |
|---|---|---|
| Self-determination Do humans have control over their own data? | Implemented | As a general rule, we do not collect data in our demos. The contact form requires active action and the warning is accepted by the user. |
| Dignity Is the human treated as an end in itself? | Implemented | Our emotional AI technology is used to promote understanding, not for profiling or discrimination. |
| Accountability Are there clear lines of responsibility? | Continuous process | Christian Nielsen has full responsibility for all data ethics decisions. |
| Transparency Can the user understand the data usage? | Implemented | We clearly inform about the use of cookies (Google Analytics) and insecure contact channels on www.azlo.pro. |
